Location: Guilderland, NY
Today, I visited Lynnwood Elementary School of Guilderland, New York, just outside Albany. About sixty fourth- and fifth-grade students attentively listened to how I started biathlon and reached my dream of becoming an Olympian. They learned about pursuing dreams through hard work and perseverance. The students also learned about geography and different cultures through pictures and discussion of the places I have been to and the people whom I have met. What a great school! To volunteer is great!
