Location: Heber City, UT
Just a quick update. I made it to Utah, having arrived on Wednesday after departing Vermont last Thursday.
Synopsis: flew from Vermont to Minnesota. Picked up new car. Spent a night in a quaint little Minnesota town (thanks Hansi). Drove to Iowa. Found out there is in fact diversity in Iowa. And some nails on their roads. Awoke to flat tire. On a Sunday. Replaced just the one tire. Worried all the way to Colorado that the AWD differential would blow. But was comforted by the fact that premium-grade gasoline is cheaper in the Midwest than regular unleaded (thanks ethanol, even if it is a worthless sham). Spent a few days in Denver with my wonderfully talented and beautiful sister (who just can't touch my boche ball skills). Visited Boulder. Fell in love with said town. Had some good Mexican food. Checked in on my skis. Drove north to Laramie. Found Wyoming actually rather cool, more because of the awesome views, more good Mexican food (fish tacos!), and new wind turbines, less so because of the current VP. Continued drive west. Lots of Wyoming. Listened to a certain leader tell me all about the financial crisis. Then I arrived in Heber. I'll be here for a while.
The end.
More descriptive tales to come.
