(Abridged)
WHEN BRIAN OLSEN, a Minnesota native who lives in Fort Kent, was named to the Olympic team, he said the moment was hard to describe.
"On one hand, it's really the culmination of a lot of training, a lot of effort," said Olsen. "I understand how it feels to not make it. I just tried to do my racing.
"I didn't want splits. I didn't want to know how other people were doing. I just wanted to have four solid races. I had four OK races. I guess I'm satisfied."
